Doing What You Have to

Posted on

Today I’m at work, trying to catch up some things and get a little less under the gun for next week.

I’ve spent the last ten years working my way into the medical world and six months ago, left all that behind. It’s quite a culture shock. In the medical world toes get stepped on all the time and you’re always walking on eggshells, typically anyways.

In the legal world, you’re surrounded by what I would call pessimistic realists. πŸ˜‰ Or Irish. LOL.

It’s a unique world to me, one that I have only caught a glimpse of however, it is intriguing, and I do like to learn, I feel that it keeps me young.

So when you pop the top think of me, say “Cheers!” and I’ll be happy that you’re relaxing and unwinding, you need it.

My day is tomorrow….what are you guys doing today?

  1. The Irish joke was thanks to an Irish comedian I saw named Tommy Tiernan. He went on a rant about Americans always ordering each other to “Have a Nice Day!” and that in Ireland, they say, “Good Luck!”….there was more but in case you get to see his bit on Comedy Central I don’t want to ruin it for you…

  2. Morning girls!
No pics from yesterdays adventure. It was a little too socked in with grey clouds.
Today is a huge ‘nothing’ day for me also. Im kicking out the ol man and kid for a few hours so I can readjust my zen before Monday starts.
Now if I only had a bathtub as big as my bed!
    Enjoy your Sunday.

  3. Hold up! I’m an Irish gal, and I happen to be very optimistic πŸ˜‰

“Tomorrow” is today, I have plans to do nothing! I will enjoy every moment of it too!

  4. Oh, I’ll bet your pictures will be beautiful! Mountains and snow and valleys, oh my!

Let me know how your day turns out and if you make it out of the valley so I can live vicariously… πŸ˜‰

  5. Working today? Ugh, sorry.
I live so far in the boonies of Oregon that today I’m going to try and head into Washington state to get some shopping done and sneak in a little photography. It will all depend on if I can get out of my little valley. Im surrounded by mountains and it snowed up there a good deal last night. If I make it it’ll be an all-dayer and I love those. Whisk me away first thing in the morning and don’t bring me back until I’m ready to drop.
So you went from medical to legal? isn’t that like choosing the electric chair over hanging? Wheres the benefit!? πŸ˜›
Dont work too hard today. Have a good one!
