“Photograph – all I’ve got is a photograph…..But it’s not enough”
I can’t begin to tell you how many digital photos I have stored for that one day I’ll have time to create a great little photo book. I already have several photo books around the house that I browse through. I love to buy frames that have several smaller frames within that I can combine a smörgåsbord of photos inside of.
I think taking pictures of things you love and especially your children and filling your home with them shows your children that you love them and like them around. It’s a subconscious thing. We have a wall here inside a hallway right outside my son’s room and just when you walk in from the garage that is our photo wall where we have family photos. We have no shortage of pictures, just a shortage of frames, lol.
I especially like having the kids in the family make their funniest faces and memorializing them with photos. Those will be cherished when they’re older and shows a silly side that we are rarely able to catch, but what 5 – 10 year old will turn down the opportunity to be goofy? None. Every teenager goes through that dark period I think, and what better way to cheer them up than to have those kind of pictures displayed right outside their door?
I’ve often thought how fun it would be to blow up some of my son’s pictures in black and white and frame them in poster frames and hang them outside his room…kind of as his own little “Walk of Fame”. Just an idea.
Because I can never seem to find the time to get these great photos printed and put the books and frames together, I’ve started using Smilebox.
It’s Free, Safe and Secure and let’s you do great things with your photos and email them to family or blog about it. You drag and drop your photos or videos into a design and you have the option of adding music, captions and all sorts of embellishments.

What better way to use your time and get it distributed to lots of people? I can think of none. Go check it out, I think you’ll be pleased with what you find there and have a lot of fun sharing previously unseen pictures.
