Wednesday Fwd: Remember and Forget

Posted on

This week’s Fwd: came from my sister in law who sends me sweet inspirational stuff every now and then and today I wanted to share it with you in light of yesterday’s post Can You Handle That?

I do get very riled when it comes to our little people that are the next generation for us. It pisses me off to see such parents squander the gift they’ve been given, or can give to someone else. As if you couldn’t tell. LOL

Without further ado:

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters,
who never did,who won’t anymore…and who always will.

So, don’t worry about people from your past, there’s a reason why they didn’t make it to your future.

Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Isn’t that so true? Everyone has their own battles to fight in this life, what have been your most trying battles, and what do you think you learned from it? Have you broken off any old relationships or friendships that endured out of habit?

An old friend called me a few days ago and we caught up like old friends do. Over the years we’ve both had lots of changes in our lives, but we’ve both reached what seems to be a place of peace and happiness. That’s comforting, to know she’s doing well and I’m doing well…it’s just good stuff.

  1. I have indeed ended realitonships with ppl. for my own sanity. I have cut all emotional ties to my older sister. I love her but I donthave anything to do with her. It would jsut be stupid for me to continually hurt myself so i choose to stay away from her life and her issues. However when it comes to my niece I will have contact with her. I toohave a spot for the wee ppl they need some grownup to love and support them.
