Wednesday Fwd: Thank you

Posted on

I thought I would share with you guys something cool that Xerox is doing.

If you go to this web site, you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it out and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can’t pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.

This is a great site. Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a second. Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them, after all they are trying to better their lives, and in the process are bettering ours.

I got this in an email, and thought what better for a Wednesday Fwd? Nothing, absolutely nothing. I summon all of you to thank the soldiers securing our freedoms (those of you in the US) by spending just a minute of your time thinking of them. Sleeping in bunkers, not having near the comforts we take for granted. It’s the least we can do.

Let me remind you why…

See what it means to them to get these here.

  1. It’s Christmas, those soldiers should be home right now. I agree the least we can do is thank them. That’s a sacrifice I wasn’t willing to make, but not because I am not a patriot, I am certainly that, but because I didn’t want to give up years of my life. It was purely selfish. I applaud their courage.
