Morality TV

This morning as I was driving to work I saw two motorcycle officers riding side by side in the HOV lane on the opposite side of traffic. I couldn’t help it, I started laughing as my mind replayed the opening to CHiPs – the show from the 80′s about the California Highway Patrol.

LMAO, I can hardly sustain my giggles as I write this, what a lame show that was eh? Preview to Cops I suppose but still hilarious, much like Cops is today, what do you do when you hear Oasis?

All this reminded me of some of the shows I used to watch all the time when I was a kid, great shows that actually had values and morals built into the story line. Not that I’m complaining about the TV of today, but morality on TV is hard to come by these days, I don’t think you’d disagree. Want an example? Rehab on TruTV, WTF?

Take for example, The Cosby Show:

Or, Different Strokes, when they weren’t afraid to talk about spankings on television:

Instead, this the kind of crap we can see, any night of the week:

I’ll stick with watching the Dallas Mavericks.

I Found This, Now You Can Enjoy!

It has been a long time since the last time I just stumbled across these interwebs and discovered what was out there to be discovered so today…I stumbled. I like having the stumble toolbar because when I get bored, or the boys are hogging the tv’s with their games and cops or whatever, I can find something to do just by clicking on the stumble button.

I wear nothing but silver jewelry and love unusual, interesting pieces, much like what’s offered at Made with Molecules. I thought this was very cool, I want the alcohol earrings. ;)

I thought this comic was pretty funny and wanted to share it with you :) . I also stumbled onto this very fun video, watch as this sweet husband and wife (both 90 years old), who have been married for 62 years, play the piano together in the atrium of the Mayo Clinic.

Here’s a tutorial on How to Watch Security Camera Streams on the Internet. ;) Then there’s 30 Things WAAAY Scarier than Swine Flu. These Top Rules for Men were hilarious.

That’s all for now, maybe I’ll start doing this every week, what do you think?
